Artful Ways: The Exhibition

April 2022
@ The Studio Morland

In Summer 2021 we were thrilled to be a partner for somewhere nowhere’s Artful Ways project. The project asked people to go for a creativity inspired walk, answering three questions and doing something creative along the way. People across Cumbria submitted their routes and pieces of art, writing and music, which were then displayed in an initial exhibition at Tullie House, alongside work from 5 commissioned Cumbrian artists.

The inspiring Artful Ways exhibition is being toured to The Studio Morland in April. The exhibition will be open at the Studio on:

April 6 & 7 - 12-4pm
April 9 & 10 - 10am-4pm
April 13 & 14 - 12-4pm
April 16 & 17 - 10am-4pm

No need to book - just turn up. This exhibition is free to attend.

Last year we created a map of short walks beginning and ending at the Studio Morland – so do leave time for a walk if you’d like to (and maybe time to pop into the next door cafe for a cuppa as well).

Here are some photos from our guided Artful Ways walks last year - bees, botanics, storytelling, emergency poetry and medicinal cake included!
