We offer a menu of bespoke workshops hosted at the studio for groups - whether you are looking for a company away day, a special activity for a birthday celebration, residential, retreat or hen party or something new to do for your activity group (everything from the WI to the Scouts!) we have a creative activity that will be right for you.

LIFE DRAWING class
Fun activity for groups with nude models and (clothed) instructor! Prosecco and nibbles make a party atmosphere as you draw. A perfect creative activity for hen parties, groups and companies seeking a fun creative alternative.
Textile Workshops
We provide textile workshops to suit all levels. Learn how to make a bag, cushion or vintage bunting - or perhaps an appliqué workshop is more up your street? Expert tuition, refreshments provided. Creative, relaxing and enjoyable!
Paint from the landscape
Come and explore the beautiful gardens of Morland House and observe, draw and paint from the landscape. Perfect for mixed-age groups, especially in the summertime. Full tuition and equipment supplied.
ART PARTIES
Children's fun and creative art parties. Choose from a range of activities inclusing jewellery making, clay throwing, T-shirt designing, mask making or contact us to discuss different options to suit your kid. DBS and fully insured tutors.
BELLY DANCING CLASS
An empowering and fun dance class that is guaranteed to make you smile! Your femininity and creativity will flourish naturally by dancing this beautiful art form. Perfect for hen parties and any group looking for something different!
afternoon tea + croquet
Come and enjoy an afternoon tea on the croquet lawn and be pampered like royalty! A great way to relax after walking the hills of the Lake District - a fantastic treat suitable for all ages, which can be combined with other workshops too.
Drawing explorations
Always wanted to know how to draw? Learn a range of different techniques for drawing in pen, including observational skills, shading, hatching, shadows and outlines. Great for beginners and improvers who want to hone their skills.
Clay & cocktails
Envious of the potters on the Great Pottery Throwdown? In this workshop, learn how to create beautiful clay thumb and coil pots with air dry clay - we’ve all got to start somewhere!. A great fun activity for all ages and abilities, especially mixed-age groups.
lino cut printmaking
Try your hand at printmaking using the lino cut technique. Draw your designs, learn how to cut a block, mix the paints and print away using a portable press. A fantastic, achievable art form for all ages.
