Morland Jubilee Celebrations
We had a wonderful time at our Jubilee Celebrations on Saturday 4th June 2022. Thank you so much to everyone who came out in the sunshine and celebrated with us.

Come one, come all! We would love to invite you to join us in Morland all day on Saturday 4th June to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The celebrations are being organised by Jenny Brook, Julia Evans, Patti Dawson and all of us at The Studio Morland. We can’t wait!

What’s On In Morland
On The Day (Saturday 4th June)
10am-12pm: Crown and Corgi Making @ The Studio Morland
A free craft workshop led by Jenny Brook where you can make a crown and pretend corgi for the parade. All ages welcome. There will be a ‘Best In Show’ prize for the best corgi - and one for the best crown too!
12pm-12:30pm: Fancy Dress Parade
Meet at White Bridge to parade through the village up to the village hall with the WI taking the lead. Everyone is invited to take part in any costume that you fancy!
12:30-4:30pm: Village Fete - along Water Street & High Street
Browse the stalls and support local businesses.
12:30-4pm: Exhibition + Teapot Party @ The Studio Morland
Come to the Studio to see an exhibition of children’s artwork and photos from Jubilees gone by. Enjoy some free tea, cake and conversation to celebrate the Studio Morland’s 5th Birthday as well as visiting our giant teapot to leave your village wishes.
7:30pm: BBQ and Entertainment @ Morland Village Hall
Time for a knees up! Join us for a BBQ with entertainment provided by MUGS and The Hoo. Tickets for the Evening Event are £5 - available from Patti Dawson or Julia Evans - contact us if you don't have their details and would like to be put in touch.

Tuesday 24th may - 3pm-6pm
Bunting making with Jenny
Come to the Studio Morland for a social sewing afternoon making some special fabric bunting to display during our jubilee celebrations. It's a great chance to get together over tea and biscuits and have a bit of a social.
We have some fabric but if anyone has any spare they would like to contribute, please do. The workshop starts at three but it's drop in so just pop down when you can. Please bring a sewing machine, if you have one (or use one of mine) although not completely necessary. Anyone and everyone is welcome but children should be accompanied by an adult.
No need to book - just turn up.
